軌道共鳴～Orbital Resonance
「Proto Science」
軌道共鳴のオリジナル・メンバーの黒沢ダイスケ(gtr.)と上田哲也(b.)がクランキーの友達だ。クランキーのドラマー、マサヒトが去年横浜でダイちゃんと一緒にフュージョン・ライブをやって、クランキーのベース担当のアホと見に行った。素晴らしい演奏だった。そして、ダイちゃんの作曲やって、感動した。凄いテクニカルけど、メロディーも面白くてかっこいい。
８月のクランキー・サマー・ライブにダイちゃんとテッちゃんが来て、一緒にセッションした。テッちゃんのベースが本当に凄い。テックニークとグルーブだな。
さて、「Proto Science」。プログレッシブロックバンドっていわゆる、曲の流れが凄い面白い。いろんなムードとテーマがある。凄く面白くて良いアルバム。

「Proto Science」
Orbital Resonance (known as 'Kidokyomei' in Japanese) are a young, progressive rock band. Original members, Daisuke Kurosawa (gtr.) and Tetsuya Ueda (b.) are friends of Cranky. They are truly talented musicians with a bright future ahead of them. They possess incredible technique and deep musicality, especially considering their age.
「Proto Science」is their 2nd album. The strengths of the album are very much in the musicianship - special mention of drummer Tsutomu Ogiku for his solid and steady drumming that eschews flash for driving the music along, a rarity in this type of music - but also in the compositions. Dai-chan and Te-chan know how to write interesting and involving suites with melodic themes. Highly recommended.
