『マ イ・ターン』は３作目のソロ・アルバム。ファビュラス・サンダーバーズを引退してから、マイケル・ランドーと友達になった。そして、ランドーが『マイ・ ターン』のプロデュースとサイド・ギターをやった。ブルーズだけではなく、クルセーダーズのWay Back Homeとスライ・アンド・ザ・ファミリー・ストーンのLet Me Have It Allもやる。

My Turn (2010)
Kirk Fletcher was born December 23, 1975 in Bellflower California. Son of a Pentecostal preacher, Kirk picked up the guitar early, listening to his older brother Walter play. While initially attracted to players like Jimi Hendrix, Larry Carlton & Robben Ford, he developed a great affinity for the blues in his late teens/early 20s. This eventually led to high profile gigs with harmonica maestro, Charlie Musselwhite and the Fabulous Thunderbirds and a great deal of critical praise before concentrating on his solo career.
His third solo album, My Turn, finds Fletcher coming full circle. While hardly abandoning the blues, the album does touch on his formative influences. Travis Carlton, Larry's son, bass player & Fletcher friend, lays down the low end on an inspired cover of the Crusaders' 'Way Back Home' while things get downright Hendrix-y on the title track and the experimental 'Continent's End'. Produced by Michael Landau, who takes a stand-out solo on 'Blues for Antone', and Gary Novak, the album also features Fletcher's vocal debut on Sly & the Family Stone's 'Let Me Have It All' and Jimmy Reed's 'Found Love'.
Kirk played in his father's church for the next decade along with soul band's with once again his brother. After high school Kirk began to play with local gospal, funk, blues, pop and rock bands. At this time Kirk's day's were spent hangging at a local music store, that led to meeting Robben Ford. I was sort of a fly on the wall and Robben hipped me to Jazz and Tenor sax player's like Coltrane and Wayne Shorter. Also at night if not gigging I'd see player's like, now close friend Mike Landau play at the Mint in L.A. Then I started to get into the blues more and more. A little while later Kirk met bluesman Al Blake and Jr. Watson. The next five or so year's were nothing but traditional blues from the 30's to the 60's. Kirk feel's this deep obbsession with the blues gave his playing more substance and foundation. This led to playing with some of the best in the business, Lynwood Slim, Janiva Magness, Hollywood Fat's band, Kim Wilson, Member's of Muddy Water's band, James Cotten, Rusty Zinn, Hubert Sumlin, Charlie Musselwhite, Ford Brother's, Nappy Brown, Tail dragger, Phillip Walker, Fabulous Thunderbirds, James Harman, Mike Landau, Robben Ford, Larry Carlton and so many more. Kirk's third Album entitled "My Turn" released on February 16th, 2010 on EclectoGroove Records.
